What is a Posmay Artist Page?

Why should I pay for a Posmay Artist Page if I can get a Myspace or Facebook page for free?
Myspace and Facebook are great free music promotion tools and they should be part of every artist’s online presence. However we believe that what we offer is something far superior. For a small monthly fee, we don’t only give you an awesome artist page containing everything you need to market yourself, we also service that page for you on an ongoing basis. And let’s not forget that we don’t annoy your fans with advertising.

Do you accept every artist that signs up for a Posmay Artist Page?
No, we only accept artists that meet our basic requirements. In an effort to create a high quality music website, we chose to work with artists that are ready to be showcased.

Do you only accept specific music genres?
No, we are not a genre specific website and we welcome artists from all sorts of different genres.

Do you accept artists from anywhere in the world?
Yes, Posmay Music aims to become a global music network and we invite artists from anywhere in the world.

Where do I login to update my page or upload content?
Posmay Music does not work like most other music websites where you create a page and login to manage it yourself. We save you time by managing your artist page on your behalf. All you need to do is submit all your news using our submission forms and email any new content to music@posmay.com.

What is a submission code?
After signing up we will provide you with a submission code. This is a code that you need to enter every time you submit news or a gig. It’s like a secret password that proves to us that you are who you say you are.

Why is there no advertising on your site?
You will probably agree with us when we say that advertising sucks! Adverts annoy us and annoying our visitors is the last thing we want to do. We rather charge artists a small monthly fee and give them a “clean” website with awesome service.

What is the affiliate program all about?
When you sign up to become part a Posmay Artist, we will give you an affiliate code. If you get other artists to sign up, then we will reduce your monthly membership fee by 10% per artist. The artist that you refer must however type in your affiliate code when signing up – to prove that you referred them. If you get 10 other artists to sign up, then your monthly fee will be zero – which means free membership.
